Any home theatre specialists?

Do you really think something that small would blast away a room with 11 foot ceilings? What do you think your going to get in that budget? The last time you went out to the cinema, was it built from a box big enough to fit in the trunk of a car? I don't think so. It has been said here a thousand times, those HTiB's (home theater in a box) are cheaply made from the junkiest parts available over seas. Every day I sit here & read about the issues people have with them. I know you want a pleasant home cinema experience. But get real & know that it will only take a few minutes listening to it to realize they totally suck. And the odds are good that you will box it back up & return it. Buy a decent Hi-def receiver and a good 5.1 speaker system to begin with. Yes it will cost more. But there is no need to buy it all at once. Buy it used if you want to. Plenty of them on eBay.
