How to remove a certain virus-creating file?

I recently loaned my computer to my friend and when I got it back it seemed to have a virus-creating .scr file. I cant seem to find it in my directory but I would like to get rid of it, It keeps getting blocked by Norton so I dont have anything to worry about but it gets annoying the notifications that I keep getting.
