Does bandwith calculate correct download usage?

yes if u try to download from links then it must fetch it from other surce so it takes some Gb for it and more in torrent itself if u dwnload 700 mb file(for examble) watch it out it takes 730 mb for full download to finish thats due to fetching process so it will also takes some more xtra bytes to complete it fully thats matter bt u r saying that its over 45 Gb that much diff isnot possible at all
