Is it ok for a pregnant woman to breathe tar or rubber fumes?

The city is putting in a new road right outside our house and today are finishing off by putting in the new black tar.. we have our windows open so our entire house smells of that strong rubber or tar smell from the new road. I am 9 weeks pregnant, is it OK for me to breathe these fumes?
