I have psoriasis can anyone recommend any treatments for it ive tried steroid creams , tar baths which burnt?

my skin ive recently been prescribed dovabet gel which isn't working it seems to be worser all these treatments ive tried for a long time 3 months roughly each , ive read about people which have tried methotrexate tablets and was going to ask my consultant to prescribe them but im worried as all the things ive read have been bad , as anyone who has psoriasis tried these and they,ve worked? (andhaven'tt had bad side affects) ? as i would love to hear from you , also do sunbeds help clear psoriasis ? any information would be verygratefull as ive had psoriasis now for a year and it is all over every part of my body , i apply aqueous cream often but have read tha tmoisturisess help can anyone recommend a good one for psoriasis thanks x
